Hello, I’m Gareth.

I’m a Product Lead, AI at Poe / Quora. I like the part where research meets a real product: deciding what good behavior looks like, finding a way to test it, and staying close enough to the work to build the first version.

This website has been online since 2002, when it was first hosted on Geocities. I have designed and built every version myself. The stack changes; the impulse to keep a small patch of the internet personal does not.

I don’t publish on a schedule. I spend most of my spare time with my wife and daughter; the rest tends to disappear into building, livestreaming, golf, or taking something apart to understand it.
