Research, product, and code. I like the part where a complicated idea becomes something people can actually use.
See what I’m building
01 / Things I’ve built
Small products. Specific problems.
A macOS focus app for ADHD and time-blindness. Built around the next check-in, not the whole countdown.
A checkpoint brings the session back into view—even over fullscreen apps. Continue, extend, or stop. One small decision to keep you in control.
FlowTimer uses progressive time disclosure: the next check-in is visible, rather than the total time remaining. Presets cover Deep Work, Quick Task, Meeting, and Break. The checkpoint is a chance to choose what happens next.
02 / Working in public
Talks & writing
A practical look at testing agents against the work we actually expect them to do.
Watch the sessionHow several imperfect signals can produce a more useful training objective.
Talk / Agent systemsKeeping parallel coding agents legible, scoped, and moving.
Writing / Speech03 / The person behind the work
Full background ↗
I started close to customers and support, moved through product and developer ecosystems, led engineering teams, and came back to product through developer experience and AI research.
I still code because it is often the shortest route from a fuzzy idea to an honest conversation.
Most of my spare time is with my wife and daughter. The rest tends to disappear into building, livestreaming, golf, or taking something apart to understand it.
